Cartier Enamel Travel Alarm Clock

Travel Alarm Clock by Cartier

This compact Cartier timepiece combines decorative detailing with a refined mid-century luxury aesthetic, making it equally appealing as a functional desk clock and a collectible Cartier item.

This vintage model features a cream toned square case detailed with a warm gold tone trim with decorative hinged support featuring the two ‘C’ scrolls for Cartier.

Brass bezel, white painted dial featuring Roman numerals and original hands, signed Cartier.

The circular brass back of the clock signed ‘Cartier’ with two cabochon cut blue sapphires for the hand setting and the alarm with integral winder.  C.1970’s

The clock still retains it’s original red leather presentation case from Cartier along with the original handbook.

The proportions are elegant and understated making it equally at home in an academic library, executive office, collectors cabinet or sophisticated bedroom.

Cartier’s story began in 1847 when Louis-Frabcois Cartier took over a jewellery workshop in Paris.  The company grew rapidly and remained in family ownership until 1964.

It is now owned by the Richmont Group and is known throughout the world for it’s high end jewellery, watches and luxury goods.
