Victorian carriage clock in a finely gilded gorge case, standing on a raised base with pad feet.  Bevelled glasses to all panels and surmounted by an ornate carrying handle.

 

Enamel dial with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands.

 

Eight day French timepiece movement with silvered lever platform escapement.  C.1890
