Brass cased aneroid barometer housed in the original leather fitted case.

 

Silvered dial with original ‘blued’ steel pointer and setting hand.

 

The dial marked from 14 to 31 inches of mercury and 0 to 2200 millibars to the outer ring, signed ‘Stanley, London, Compensated’ and numbered 6569.  C.1890
