Break arch top mahogany case surmounted by a single pad with brass carrying handle and four brass finials with red silk lined fishscale frets. Brass bound front door, standing on a raised, moulded base and resting on brass bracket feet.

Fine quality chain Fusee eight day movement with anchor escapement and border engraving to the brass plates , signed Scott, Tottenham Court Road. Striking the hours on a silvered bell with pendulum holdfast and pull repeat facility.

Silvered dial with Roman numerals, finely cut ‘blued’ steel hands signed Scott, Tottenham Court Road with subsidiary dials for strike / silent and calendar. C.1810
