The circular steel back of the clock signed ‘Cartier’ with two distinctive cabochon tipped adjustment knobs  for the hand setting and the alarm.  C.1980

The clock still retains it’s original red leather presentation case from Cartier along with the original handbook and guarantee.

Cartier’s story began in 1847 when Louis-Frabcois Cartier took over a jewellery workshop in Paris.

The company grew rapidly and remained in family ownership until 1964.
