Georgian skeleton clock standing on an ebonised stepped base lined with blue velvet and original square glass dome.

Lyre shaped plated frame standing on raised rectangular silvered plinths.

Silvered dial with Roman numerals incorporating a seconds dial to the top, original ‘blued’ steel hands.

Eight day chain fusee movement with fine quality wheelwork and anchor escapement, regulating pendulum and holdfast. The frame signed to the front Jones, Strand and numbered 338. C.1820
