Cartier ‘Santos’ Travel Alarm Clock

Vintage Cartier Santos travel alarm clock in the form of the iconic Santos Cartier watch.

Housed in a folding black leather case.  Brushed steel bezel, the white dial is adorned with traditional  Roman numerals and luminous hands signed Cartier.

A Swiss made quartz movement powers this sophisticated office / study accessory with an alarm function. The clock retains it’s original red leather pouch and handbook.

The proportions are elegant and understated making it equally at home in an academic library, executive office, collectors cabinet or sophisticated bedroom.

The Santos watch was designed by Louis Cartier in 1904 for the infamous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Durmount.  C.1980’s

Cartier’s story began in 1847 when Louis-Frabcois Cartier took over a jewellery workshop in Paris.

The company grew rapidly and remained in family ownership until 1964.

It is now owned by the Richmont Group and is known throughout the world for it’s high end jewellery, watches and luxury goods.
