Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Mantel Clock

Victorian Mahogany mantel clock in a break arch case with turned pillars to either side of the dial and resting on a stepped moulded plinth with satinwood inset panel and inlay decoration.  Boxwood and satinwood chequered stringing surmounted by a brass carrying handle.

 

Brass bezel opening to an enamel dial with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands.

 

Eight day French movement striking the hours and halves on a coiled gong stamped D & Co.
